PEI is pleased to announce the successful renewal of the 4-yearly Manufacture License of Special Equipment which has just taken place at PEI's Sutton site by the Chinese Audit Team (AQSIQ). This enables PEI to continue manufacturing pressure vessels and heat exchangers (categories A1 and A2 high integrity pressure vessels) for import into China - an accreditation held by only a few UK manufacturers.
During the close-out meeting with the Chinese Audit Team many positive comments were made Mr Zhongmin Wang, Vice Director and Team Leader described PEI as a very professional and highly recommended manufacturer and Mr Gongtian Shen, Vice Chief Engineer, who audited the Group eight years ago and who has audited over 200 companies worldwide in the past 10 years, added "
PEI has an excellent Quality Management System based on the special equipment requirements for China".
